Description

The Rotary Bottle Rinser by TRAKTECH is a compact solution that enables the inside of empty glass, metal or plastic containers to be cleaned, using ionised air, effective for filling lines in companies producing 3,000 – 4,000 bottles per hour (bph).

The ingenious input system for containers in the Rotary rinser, that places the empty containers in a vertical carrousel, allows the surface dedicated to cleaning the containers be as small as possible. Production companies maximise productivity of their filling lines per square metre and improve the utility of the production area.

How does the Rotary rinser by Traktech work?

  • The Rotary rinser receives the containers on a conveyor, puts them in a vertical carrousel that turns them 360º, during this movement, when the containers are upside down, the mouth of the container passes over 4 or 5 nozzles (according to the design of the container) with pressurised ionized air, generating an internal swirling and expelling any particles of dirt, depositing them in a box for collection in the same machine.
  • For the format changeover process of the rotary rinser, you only need to replace the inlet and outlet guide of the container on the carrousel and the plastic components that hold the containers in the vertical carrousel, secured with spring cotters.

Side-Grip rinser SG-10

The Side-Grip rinser model SG-10 is characterised by having a single conveyor, for inlet and outlet of empty containers. A plastic guide moves the containers towards the side grip and returns them to the conveyor again.

The side-grip holds the empty containers, puts them upside down and moves them over the dual washing system with ionized air, so the circulation of ionized air inside will clean the container of any particles, even if the containers are charged with static electricity.

To format changeover, just change the plastic guide for each container and adjust the width of the side-grip. Both adjustments can be done without tools or the help of maintenance technicians.

The Side-Grip rinser model SG-10 is a compact solution with speeds of up to 10,000 bph and cylindrical bottles.

The Side-Grip rinsers SG 20 and 30 are characterised by having 2 conveyors, one for input and one for output. The containers enter the side-grip directly, so the format change just needs to adjust the width of the side-grip.

The SG-20 and 30 rinser range is useful for any container format and can reach speeds of up to 30,000 bph.

The Side-Grip SG-20 is built in such a manner that it has the same performance as the Side-Grip SG-30 rinser, with a more compact and economic design. The SG-30, with a longer cleaning length and straight conveyors to enter the side-grip, enables high speeds.

Description

How does the Twist Rinser work?

The TWIST RINSER cleans PET containers in production lines with high production, using the same air conveyor that links the blower and the filler.

On the route between the blower and the filler, 6 metres of the air conveyor are replaced with the Twist Rinser for PET Bottles by Traktech, which works at the same speed.

The Twist Rinser guides the PET containers through the neck ring, the same as the air conveyor, locating it upside down on a section of about 1 m, while at the same time it cleans it by injecting pressurized ionized air. This dual blowing and suction cleaning with ionised air generates a circular air current that removes any particle form inside the PET container.

 

The Ionised Air system in the Twist Rinser

In the Twist Rinser, the ionised air used in the cleaning counteracts the effects of static electricity that the particles of dirt could have, thus avoiding the dirt adhering to the sided of the PET container.

This ionised air is generated with the  IonRinse™system, which combines powerful CA ionisation with high level on-line filtration  to provide the maximum level of cleaning with ionised air .

Using high-volume and high-speed centrifugal as well as Hepa filters  with ionised air, the ionised air leaves the main unit and enters the containers by the air distributor. Airflow control combined with neutralisation of electrostatic charges detaches contamination form the internal walls of the container, which are collected by the flow of vacuum air.
