PPMA Total Show 2022, the UK’s leading event for processing and packaging machinery, robots, and machine vision will be held from 27-29 September 2022 at the National Exhibition Center (NEC) in Birmingham.

This year Traktech will be present at the Hispack 2022 fair, the most important professional fair for the packaging industry in Spain, which will be held from May 24 to 27 at the Fira de Barcelona, ​​located on Gran Vía.

The forecasts for this year indicate a high participation in the event, according to data provided by the organizers, the event will have more than 600 companies, 1,100 brands.

What novelties will we present at the Hispack 2022 fair?

At our stand you can find our new DELTRAK unscrambler. This new unscrambler is the result of collaboration with the company ATP Engineering & Packaging, a company with more than 25 years of experience in robotic picking lines with its own vision system and Delta robots, which added to our experience in empty plastic bottle handling  results in this new solution.

What does it consist of?

The DELTRAK unscrambler for the automatic positioning of empty plastic bottles designed for the cosmetics and parapharmacy industries consists of 4 clearly identified steps/phases:

• Warehouse and container feeding
• Pre-positioning of containers
• Vision and collection of the container, “Pick”
• Delivery of the container to the exit conveyor, “Place”

Depending on the required production (bph) of the line, we can have 1, 2 or 3 robots. Each robot has its independent vision system. The robot picks up the container by means of a universal vacuum gripper and it delivers it to the PLACE conveyor or exit conveyor, which is equipped with suction to ensure that the containers are always controlled.

We will also have our ROTRAK 1100 /8 AAF Positioner with automatic format change at our stand.

Traktech closes commercial agreements for the distribution of its equipment for the empty bottles handling with four new companies in Costa Rica, France, Sweden, and Venezuela.

Those agreements will allow, in the one hand, to continue to strengthen the European market, and on the other hand, the expansion into new markets in Latin America.
