Traktech celebrates 10 years since it was established

Reading time: 3 minutes

Last December 2020, Traktech saw its tenth anniversary.

On 14 December 2010, Quim Torrella and Joan Arbós, founders of Traktech, officially started our company.

During these ten years, Traktech has evolved from being a small company to having a workforce of 26 and becoming a benchmark in the empty bottle handling sector, both in the national and international market.

More than 25 years of experience in packaging machinery of the company’s founding members, have made Traktech an innovative company and a technological partner with their potential and current clients. Improving bottle-handling processes such as depalletizing, unscrambling, and cleaning.

10 years from the first Rinser to the AAF Unscrambler

Since the first Rinser, manufactured in  2011 and the first unscrambler, made in 2014, Traktech has produced more than 300 machines installed worldwide.

Today, the company has an extensive catalogue of machinery, which includes unscramblers, rinsers, depalletizers, and conveyors to the start of the production line, which can be adapted to the company’s needs.

New installations covering 1500 m2 were opened in 2016 and became Traktech’s current home, enabling productivity improvements.

An important landmark in the evolution and growth of the company was a capital increase that took place in 2017 and enabled Traktech to invest in research and development, launching the new AAF Automatic Unscrambler, a machine that has been very popular and in constant demand in the domestic as well as the export market.

Success cases speak for us

PET containers filled with juices and smoothies from a fruit and vegetable processing plant.

Traktech can boast of several success cases in which clients with highly specific needs regarding production, space, etc. have adopted our technology and solutions.

For example, we designed and manufactured a machine for the start of a PET bottle-filling line, where the challenge consisted of handling eight different size and shape formats of PET containers, producing from 2,800 to 8,000 bottles per hour (BPH).

In another example, we designed and manufactured an installation with three machines connected at the beginning of a filling line, installed for a complete filling, capping, and labeling production line for glass, tin, and plastic containers.

There will be more success cases that we will continue sharing here on our blog.
