RINSER-PH: Containers cleaning for the Pharmaceutical Industry
Containers cleaning in the Pharmaceutical Industry is a very demanding market with respect to regulations.
It implies ensuring maximum security of the whole drugs production chain that impacts in the security of the final consumers: the patient.
This guarantee has been the principal requirement that our R&D department has considered for the design of a special machine for cleaning the interior of the containers in drugs production lines.
It is a containers cleaning system that meets the highest international quality standards in the Pharma Industry: The Rotary Rinser R-PH.
Like all our machines for handling empty bottles, we have included other characteristics with the goal of adding more benefits towards the maximum productivity in the production lines.
Main features of the Rotary Rinser R-PH
The Rotary Rinser R-PH is a cleaning machine for the interior of the containers designed for production lines in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- It is a compact equipment in relation to the space used, whereby pharmaceutical firms can maximize the useful space in their production lines.
- It is made in stainless steel which implies easy cleaning and maximum durability.
- Designed for production with capacity up to 6000 BPH (bottles per hour).
- The container format change is done in an easy way, without special tools neither previous technical knowledge when installing.
- In terms of the containers’ material, it allows containers or bottles made of glass, metal, and PET plastic, with cylindrical or squared formats.
- Its cleaning system is by blowing ionized air, whereby firms can save in energy and water costs, while being more sustainable.
How does the Rotary Rinser R-PH work?
RINSER-PH: Containers cleaning for the Pharmaceutical Industry
An ingenious system allows the entry of the empty glass containers and introduces them in a vertical carousel that makes them rotate 360º, a moment in which pressurized ionized air is introduced in the containers through 10 nozzles.
While the containers are rotating, the ionized air generates, in addition to removing static electricity, internal turbulence that when the containers are in an inverted position, the movement of the air expels any dirt particle, depositing them in a collector drawer which is part of the machine.
Towards the end of the video, we can see how an operator, using a key provided with the machine, opens a lateral door of the Rotary Rinser R-PH and removes the collector drawer with the dirt from inside the containers.
When exiting, the containers can join to a conveyor that delivers them to the filler to continue with the packaging process.
This innovative machine for the processing and packaging of pharmaceutical products has already an application in Cosmetics and Chemical Industries.
