The relationship between ATP Engineering & Packaging and Traktech goes back a long way. This year we have gone a step further in our collaboration and have created the new DELTRAK positioner. More than 25 years of experience in robotic picking lines with its own vision system and Delta robots, added to our experience in handling plastic containers, result in this new solution.
WHAT DOES IT CONSIST OF?
The DELTRAK positioner consists of 4 clearly identified steps/phases:
- Warehouse and container feeding
- Pre-positioning of containers
- Vision and collection of the container, “Pick”
- Delivery of the container to the exit conveyor, “Place”
Advantages of the DELTRAK positioning system
Pre-positioning the container feeding system, automatically adjustable according to format, allows minimize robot movements and increase cadence.
Vision Our state-of-the-art linear vision system generation is able to recognize the shape and position of the container in real time and informs the robot of the point of optimal pickup. We achieve high efficiencies because each robot has its vision system.

Without recirculation the pre-positioning, the individual vision by robot and the complete software, assures us to obtain a high efficiency in the collection of containers, therefore our solution works without recirculation of containers
